COOL - My flat is changing.

My future sleeping room has lost his old rosa wallpaper and now it's all white. In the near future two walls will change again color, but before the tiles have to be set. I'm still looking for a tiler, here in Switzerland they are quite expensive, fortunately I'm living near the German border, perhaps I'll manage one from there?!? At the moment it looks quite funny, because the carpet has already been taken away, but the glue is still stucked at the floor. If someone knows a good way to take it away let it know me.

In the mean time I've orderd my furniture, it should arrive at the end of January. I've bought them from Austria, it's so nice that Switzerland is so small.

If everything goes fine I'll be moving in at the end of January.

 

FANTASTICO - Il mio appartamento sta cambiando

La mia futura camera da letto ha perso la tapezzeria di colore rosa antico e ora è tutta bianca. Prossimamente due pareti cambieranno dinuovo colore, ma prima aspetto che vengano posate le piastrelle. Sto ancora cercando il piasterllista, qui in Svizzera sono davvero cari, ma perfortuna vivo vicino la frontiera tedesca e magari riuscirò ad averne una da li ?!? Al momento sembra abbastanza strano, ormai il tappeto è stato tolto ma c'è ancora la colla attaccata al pavimento. Se qualcuno di voi sà un buon metodo per toglierla me lo lasci sapere.

Nel fratempo ho ordinato i mobili e dovrebberò arrivare a fine gennaio. Gli ho comprati in Austria, è così bello che la Svizzera è così piccola.

Se tutto va bene mi trasferiro alla fine di gennaio.

 

FANTASTISCH - Meine Wohnung verändert sich

Mein zukünftiger Schlafraum hat seine Alt-rosa Tapete verloren und ist nun Weiss. Demnächst werden aber wieder zwei Wände die Farbe wechseln, doch bevor müssen die Fliesen geleget werden. Ich suche immer noch einen Fliessenleger, hier in der Schweiz sind sie einfach zu teuer, aber zum guten Glück lebe ich neben der Deutschen Grenze, vielleicht schaffe ich es ja einen von dort zu kriegen?!? Im Moment sieht es ziemlich witzig aus, der Teppich ist schon draussen aber der Kleber haftet immer noch stark am Boden. Falls jemand ein gute Methode weiss wie ich denn lösen kann, lasst es mich wissen.

In der zwischenzeit habe ich die Möbel bestellt, sie sollten ende Januar ankommen. Ich habe sie in Österreich gekauft, ist so schön dass die Schweiz so klein ist.

Wenn alles gut geht dann kann ich ende Januar zügeln.

Wow, so laaaange nichts mehr geschrieben? Stimmt das wirklich? Sehr wahrscheinlich schon, besser nicht nachrechnen wie viele Tage das sind.

Machen wir eine kurze Zusammenfassung: Januar und anfangs Februar absolute tote Hose. Ende Februar bin ich für ein Meeting nach Turin gefahren und bin über das Wochenende dort geblieben. Anfang März war ich Im Autosalon in Genf und gleich vier Tage dort geblieben. Ende März war ich wieder in Turin und von Mitte April bis Anfang Mai habe ich Ferien gemacht in Süditalien. Ende Mai war ich wieder in Genf und vom 7-11 Juni war ich in Paris.

War echt genial, höchstens ein bisschen zu heiss in den letzten zwei Tagen. Unglaublich was wir alles gesehen haben, hat schon fast wie ein tour de force ausgesehen. Nach al den Treppen die wir hinter uns gebracht haben, wären wir bereit gewesen für ein Marathon (90% der Rolltreppen liefen nicht). Beim Eiffel Turm haben wir den Lift benutzt und sind „nur" von der zweiten zur ersten Plattform runter gestiegen. Dafür haben wir aber die Sacre Coeur, die Notre Dame und den Arc de Triomphe zu fuss hinter uns gebracht. Genial der Ausblick auf Paris, vor allem bei Nacht, aber am Schluss hatten wir die Nase voll Paris von oben zu sehen. Genial war der Ausflug im Garten von Schloss Versailles, um nicht laufen zu müssen haben wir einen Golfwagen (Elektrowagen) gemietet. Samstag hingegen war von Kirchen geprägt, draussen war es so heiss, dass wir nur von eine Kirche zur nächsten gingen (ale 200m steht ungefähr eine).

Wow, so loooong since I wrote last time? Is it really true? Probably yes, better not to calculate how many days.

Just a summery of what happened during the last months: January and the beginning of February had been a drag. At the end of February I’d been in Turin for a meeting and staid for the week-end. At the beginning of March I had been at the car salon of Geneva and staid four days there. At the end of March I’d been again in Turin and from mid April until the beginning of May I’d been on holiday in South Italy, and from the 7-11^{th of June I was in Paris.}

It was fantastic, just a little bit too hot during the last two days. Unbelievable what we managed to see, it could look like we were on a tour de force. After al the stairs we managed , we were ready to participate at a marathon(90% of the escalators didn’t work). At the tour d’Eiffel we took the lift and walk "just" down from the second Platform to the first, but we climbed on the Sacre Coeur, the Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe.

Brilliant the few on has over Paris, specially by night, but at the end we were fed up with all the sight seeing from the top.

Enjoyable was as well the trip on the caddie (electric car) in the garden of the Castle of Versailles, we were to tired to walk and so we just rented one.

Saturday was characterized from Churches, outside was so hot that we only managed to go from one church to the next (there is one every 200m)

Wow, da così molto che non sto scrivendo? Sarà vero? Probabilmente si, meglio non calcolare quanti giorni sono.

Facciamo un breve riassunto di questo periodo: Gennaio e inizio Febbraio sono stati una noia totale. Fine Febbraio sono stata a Torino e ci sono rimasta anche per il weekend. Inizio Marzo sono stato al salone d’auto a Ginevra e ci sono rimasta quattro giorni. A fine Marzo sono andata un’altra volta a Torino. Da meta Aprile a inizio Maggio a fare vacanze in Puglia. A Fino Maggio di nuovo a Ginevra e dal 7-11 Giugno a Parigi.

E stato veramente geniale, tranne che per l’ultimi due giorni che sono stati troppo caldi. E incredibile quello che siamo riusciti a vedere, sembrerebbe quasi un tour de force. Dopo tutte le scale che abbiamo dovuto fare saremmo state pronte per la maratona (il 90 % delle scale mobili non funzionava). Per salire sulla torre d’Eiffel abbiamo utilizzato l’ascensore, e abbiamo affrontato "solo" la discesa dalla seconda alla prima piattaforma. In cambio abbiamo scalato a piedi la Sacre Coeur, la Notre Dame e l’arco di trionfo.

Fantastico la vista che si ha su Parigi, soprattutto di Notte, però a la fine non ne potevamo più di vedere Parigi dal alto.

Bello è stato anche l’escursione nel giardino del Castello di Versailles, per non dover camminare abbiamo affittato una auto da golf (quelle macchinette elettriche che usano sui campi da golf). Sabato invece è stato impresso dalle chiese. Il caldo al esterno non era più sopportabile e così siamo passati da una chiesa all’altra (c’è ne una ogni 200 metri)

Also, es ist Zeit das ich endlich wieder mal in meinem Blog schreibe. Es ist jetzt schon eine Woche her, seit ich auf dem Augsburger-Weihnachtsmarkt war. Total nett so eine kleine Unterbrechung unter der Woche, aber das Aufstehen war total schwer!! 5:30 am Morgen wer ist sich das schon gewöhnt, aber es musste halt sein. Dann kam das Ankleiden, vorgesehne waren Temperaturen um 0° und Schneefall. Unterwäsche, Strumpfhosen, Socken, Jeans, Pullover.... Pullover? Pullover noch mal weg, langärmliges Unterhemd (schon besser), wieder Pullover, Stiefel, Schal, Handschuhe und langer Mantel. Um 6:25 hätte ich aus dem Haus sein sollen, habe ich natürlich nicht hingekriegt, bin 5 Minuten später aus dem Haus. Nach dem ich zwei Kolleginnen abgeholt habe sind wir schon um 6:55 auf dem Bahnhof gestanden, wo wir noch auf das Eintreffen einer weitern Kollegin und auf dem Bus, der uns nach Augsburg fahren würde, warteten.

10:30 Nach einer dreistündigen Reise (bei nur 200km und alles auf der Autobahn hätte ich weniger erwartet) sind wir endlich da. Wir kriegen noch eine kleine mündliche Anleitung, den Stadtplan haben wir schon während der Fahrt erhalten, und dann geht’s los. Wir marschieren direkt zum Markt. Nach Zweieinhalbstunden rumtrödeln kaufe ich endlich etwas!! Lammfell-Einlegsohlen!! Meine Füsse sind eiskalt und ich kann kaum noch gehen. Nach diesem fantastischen Einkauf, steuern wir eine kleine Konditorei mit Restaurant betrieb an, wo wir uns Stärken können. Nach einer langen und wärmenden Pause steuern wir die Läden im Zentrum an, wo wir unseren restlichen Weihnachts-Einkauf tätigen. Kurz bevor es heisst von Augsburg Abschied zunehmen, trinken wir noch einen Glühwein und machen uns auf eine lange Heimfahrt bereit.

Ok, è arrivato l’ora che io scriva di nuovo qualcosa nel mio blog. Ormai è gia passata una settimana, da quando sono stata al mercatino di Natale di Augsburg. Geniale avere una piccola pausa durante la settimana. Ammetto, alzarsi è stato un incubo!! Alle 5:30 di mattina, ma chi ci è abituata, però doveva essere. Di seguito mi sono dovuta vestire, prevista era una temperatura intorno ai 0° e neve. Intimo, calza, calzetini, jeans, pullover….pullover? via con il pullover, maglia intima con maniche lunghe (gia meglio), di nuovo pullover, stivali, sciarpa, guanti e Mantello lungo. Sarei dovuta uscire alle 6:25, naturalmente non c’è la ho fatta e sono uscita 5 minuti dopo. Dopo che sono passata a prender due colleghe eravamo alle 6:55 in stazione, aspettando l’arrivo di un’altra collega e del bus che ci avrebbe portati ad Augsburg.

10:30 dopo un viaggio di tre ore (con solo 200 km da fare tutti in autostrada mi aspettavo di meno), siamo finalmente arrivate. Ci fanno ancora una breve spiegazione, la piantina della città l’avevano gia distribuita in pullman, e poi finalmente possiamo iniziare. Andiamo direttamente al mercato. Dopo due ore e mezza finalmente eseguo il mio primo acquisto. Delle solette in lana!! I miei piedi sono congelati e riesco a malapena a camminare. Dopo questo mio fantastico acquisto, entriamo in una pasticceria che ha anche il servizio ristorante. Dopo una lunga e riscaldante pause ci dirigiamo verso i negozi in centro, dove facciamo il resto del nostro shopping natalizio. Poco prima di dover lasciare Augburg, ci fermiamo a bere un vin brûle e ci prepariamo per un lungo viaggio di ritorno.

 

English:

Hey, it’s time that I write again something in my blog. Already a week passed, since I have been to the Christmas-market in Augsburg. It was fantastic having a break during the week. Ok, I admit, standing up has been a real nightmare. 5:30 am , who is used to that, but it had to be. Afterwards I had to dress up, the forecasted was 0° and snowy. Underwear, tights, stockings, jeans, jumper….jumper? Taking jumper away, long sleeved shirt (already better) again the jumper on, boots, scarf, gloves and a long mantel. I should have gone out by 6:25, but obviously I didn’t manage, and got out of the house 5 minutes later. After picking up two friends of mine, we arrived at the train station at 6:55, where we waited for the arrive of an other friend and the bus which would have taken us to Augsburg.

At 10:30, after a three-hour journey (actually for 200km on the motorway I was expecting a shorter drive) we finally arrived. We got a brief explanation, they already distributed the city plant during the journey, and then finally we could start. We walked directly to the market. And eventually, after two and a half hours I do my first buy!! And now I’m so sorry, but I do not know the word in English of what I bought, but I’ll try to explain. They are to be put in your shoes and are made of sheep wool, they should help to keep the feet warm. My feet were just frozen and I hardly managed to walk. Anyway after my fantastic shopping, we went into a patisserie who also made food. After a long and warming break we went to the shops in the centre where we carried out our Christmas-shopping. Short before leaving Augsburg, we had some heated vine (again I don’t know the word in English) and got ready for a long journey back.
